Pharmacy was rude and they are always out of stock
I am a nurse and have always put the needs of my patients first. It's because of my career that I needed surgery. The pharmacists knew that this was a pain med and didn't come to the window to clarify the question I asked.
I called West rd and was told that there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to get this medication filled there. I went back through the drive thru and spoke with another tech who was knowledgeable and didn't know why there was a problem in the first place. The pharmacists came to the window stating I can't drop off the script here and transfer to the other pharmacy because it'sa narcotic. His approach was curt and he appeared annoyed. I restarted that I want the medication filled here at flatrock and never made any reference to a transfer. He then agreed to fill the script and quickly showed frustration saying it would be an hour. I was visibly in discomfort and was never shown any compassion and no appology for the misunderstanding. It's important that you know I don't get argumentative or rude when talking with others, its not who I am. My treatment was appalling and is in direct conflict of the oath taken by a medical professionals. I would highly recommend getting your medication needs filled by a medical professionals who really cares and wants to help.
I normally go to the the West rd location where I have always received great service. I recently had back surgery and chose to use the flatrock location because I was in pain and didn't want to get out of the car. They said I had to have my script for Tramadol filled at West rd since this medication is considered a narcotic. I explained that I was an existing patient and my information was in the system. The tech said that was the pharmacists answer.
Takes longer than 10 minutes!!! Also have been shorted a couple times on my medication! Someone's getting a couple extra they pocket and it's sad that they say well you have to count them in the store! Really I should trust my pharmacy to fill the right amount of medication I get prescribed!!!
